Sean Esbjörn-Hargens PhD, is associate professor and founding chair of the Department of Integral Theory at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California. A prominent scholar-practitioner in integral theory, he is founding executive editor of the Journal of Integral Theory and Practice and founding director of the Integral Research Center. He has published extensively on the applications of the integral model in a variety of areas. He is a practitioner within Tibetan Buddhism and the Diamond Approach and lives in Sebastopol, California, on five acres of redwoods with his wife and two daughters. Sean is an integral coach and consultant through Rhizome Designs (www.rhizomedesigns.org).

Michael Zimmerman

Michael E. Zimmerman PhD, is professor of philosophy and director of the Center for Humanities and the Arts at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He spent more than thirty years at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he was chair of the Department of Philosophy and co-director of Environmental Studies. He is co-editor of the popular textbook Environmental Philosophy and the author of Contesting Earth’s Future. In addition, Michael has published nearly one hundred academic articles on philosophy and ecology. He lives in Boulder, Colorado, with his wife and daughter.

Jon Geselle resides in Juneau, Alaska with his wife and two sons. He is currently completing his Masters of Arts in Integral Theory at John F. Kennedy University. He is also nearing certification as an Integral Coach through Integral Coaching Canada. Jon possesses a keen interest in how the way we make meaning of the natural world influences our relationship to life. As such, he has facilitated small practice groups involved in deepening engagement with and embodiment of our fullness as human beings in a more-than-human world.

biopic-carissa.JPG Carissa Wieler is completing a Masters in Integral Psychology at JFK University with an emphasis in Integral Ecology. Prior to arriving at JFK University, Carissa worked for two sustainability think tanks and obtained a Masters of Natural Resource Management. Her work included managing a national professional community of practice. Carissa  has lived, studied or worked in Canada, Portugal, Thailand, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Brazil, and Switzerland, and will be in Malawi this summer with Voice Flame Writers. Carissa is a novice Aikido practitioner.
